Summary of Position: 
System Supervisors will involve themselves in coaching the professional capability of their teams, direct reports, including soft and technical skills. They are responsible for developing system priorities, system setup, process integration and material management in both software and physical space.
System Supervisors support the Manufacturing team through strong leadership of the MRP System, processes, and materials.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic position as related to MRP Implementation and management of the system
. Execute manufacturing objectives as initiated by Operational Management operational considerations, and external requirements for material management to mil standard specifications.
. Participate in personal development initiatives as assigned.
. Position Personnel Development related to MRP Implementation.
. Develop strong job relations with peers, leaders, and subordinates to implement MRP System
. Conduct timely and comprehensive scheduled audits of the MRP systems
. Identify areas of needed skills development among MRP Users
. Coach and support MRP use for personnel in skills and career development
· Update/Maintain manufacturing inventory in PowerFab. This includes finalizing combined material post entry into the system by the shop and ensuring materials are in the location stated.
· Create requisitions to purchase materials in PowerFab, including all required standard notes—process for approvals as necessary then allow purchasing to process. 
· Import BOM’s into PowerFab Production Control Module for projects going to shop floor and create the associated cuts lists.
· Other duties related to the use, maintenance, and upkeep of the PowerFab system as assigned and training is completed for full and complete rollout in all departments.
· Support Production route planning as it relates to Material documentation
· Establish protocols for QR code applications and implementation
· Develop SOP’s and PowerFab to track all unique Identifiers for each heat and certification of material at the part level through the jobs manufacturing life cycle.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise


Experience and Qualifications:
·        Associate or bachelor’s Degree or 5 years Data systems and / or Materials Management
·        5+ years of experience
·        Professional skill set with experience in vendor management
·        Experience in FabSuite / PowerFab or other MRP Software strongly preferred
·        Execute quality requirements as related to Material specification, verbatim compliance and require OQE
·        Broad and detailed technical knowledge
·        Advanced knowledge of supply chain concepts, category management processes, and tools
·        Mastery of professional verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal communication, and analytical skills
·        Demonstrated ability coordinating and prioritizing multiple projects under strict deadlines while holding others accountable through influence
·        Demonstrated ability to think rationally, use creativity, influence, and innovation in the workplace
