Job Description:
Vendor Management – MTS Must be in Mountain or Pacific time zone.
The Vendor Management - MTS is to oversee the Vendors of the assigned accounts ensuring that vendor procedures and client/patient growth are performed in an effective and efficient manner. A successful Manager, Vendor Management will maintain an atmosphere of collaboration, participation, retention and teamwork within the assigned branches.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze vendor performance in order to deliver appropriate feedback to corporate business partners and develop a vendor strategy that ensures profitable growth.
- Work closely with internal teams including, but not limited to, Implementation, Quality, Program Management/Continuous Improvement, Billing and Control Tower to achieve company goals.
- Foster a positive culture to ensure the customer experience meets and exceeds expectation.
- Cultivate an environment of open communication to drive performance management and development of vendors.
- Effectively communicate and support company business and financial objectives.
- Research the market, understand customer requirements, build and distribute RFQ’s & RFP’s to ensure diverse vendor pool is selected.
- Lead contract and rate negotiations with vendors.
- Work closely with internal teams to measure service and cost efficiency of vendors which includes conducting on-site audits.
- Meet with vendors to review service performance, any applicable training issues, and any overall Vendor driver issues that need to be discussed.

- Create and maintain a diverse, high-performing vendor support team through consistent selection, development and motivation.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and overall direction of accountabilities to meet company goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or 3-5 years of Regional Manager experience
- 2-4 years of management / team leadership experience required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in handling progressively complex roles with increasing levels of responsibility.
- Excellent prior work performance history.
- Proficiency in workforce management systems.
- Must have management experience in logistics, transportation, or operations.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
- High growth experience preferred.
- Team player.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated proficiency in attention to detail.
