As a Senior Lead Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the GT Enterprise Architecture team of CTO, you play a crucial role in developing high-quality architecture solutions for a range of software applications and platform products. Your expertise across multiple architecture domains enables you to promote significant business impact and contribute to shaping the target state architecture.
Job responsibilities
- Guides evaluation of current technology and leads evaluation of new technologies using existing standards and frameworks
 - Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors
 - Drives decisions that influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes
 - Serves as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus
 - Actively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle
 - Influences peers and project decision-makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge technologies
 - Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
 - Identifies opportunities to integrate technology preferences into existing engineering tools and pipelines to ease the adoption of strategic products
 - Authors patterns and blueprints to guide the implementation of technical preferences
 - Partner with application owners, infrastructure teams, risk, and compliance groups to understand requirements, resolve conflicts, and drive consensus on architecture and technology choices.
 - Influence and coordinate with senior stakeholders and technology communities across the firm to encourage the implementation and use of the technology preferences framework.
 
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and applied experience
 - Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
 - Advanced in one or more programming language(s), applications, and architecture
 - Advanced knowledge of software architecture, applications, and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
 - Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight
 - Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies to select or recommend the best solutions for the future state architecture
 - Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
 - Experience designing architecture for both on premises and Public Cloud systems
 - Experience implementing Resiliency requirements for large scale systems
 - Practical experience implementing Risk, Controls and Regulatory requirements
