We are seeking an ECE teacher to join our organization! This individual will plan and present age appropriate activities for children.

The DAC Children's Center staff believes that we can raise responsible young people in partnership with parents and families. The DAC Children's Center has opportunities available to work with all age groups (infants, toddlers, and preschool). This position requires you to move around, help where needed, cover breaks, and step in as an assistant teacher when needed. Responsibilities:

• Instruct children of all ages in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
• Create a fun and safe learning environment
• Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, parents and co-teachers
• Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
• Maintain the health and safety of all students
• Report incidents and accidents in accordance with both state law and Children's Center policy
• Attendance is reliable and consistent; candidate should be flexible with their schedule
• Compliance with all Children's Center policies

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
• Passionate about working with children
• Ability to build rapport with children
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

You must be able to pass an extensive background check, fingerprinting, and drug test.
