The Project Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and general clerical support to the Best Start Wilmington partnership and Leadership including communicating upcoming meetings, trainings, events, and activities. Project Assistant will also be responsible for securing logistical support by negotiating and contracting with local vendors to serve the Best Start Wilmington partnership.

Required Qualifications:
- Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.
- 2 years experience providing administrative and general clerical support to a community based project.
- Experience working with vendors & subcontractors.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in one of the 14 Best Start communities.
- Experience organizing large community events.
