About the Role:
Guitar Center is strengthening its financial planning and analysis capabilities to better support enterprise technology and digital transformation initiatives. As the Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate FP&A, you will play a critical role in driving financial insight, analytical rigor, and operational excellence across the company’s technology and digital portfolio.
In this highly visible position, you’ll partner closely with Technology and FP&A leadership to enhance forecasting accuracy, streamline reporting processes, and provide the financial clarity needed to guide strategic investments. This role thrives in a dynamic, cross-functional environment that values curiosity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and maintain forward-looking financial models to support technology investments, resource planning, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Translate complex financial and operational data into actionable insights that inform strategic and tactical decision-making.
- Partner with IT and Finance leadership to improve forecast accuracy and implement scalable, best-in-class reporting processes.
- Lead financial analysis of technology-related spend (labor, systems, and vendor services) to ensure strong alignment between business objectives and financial plans.
- Support the development of new tools and automation that improve visibility into cost drivers and performance metrics.
- Drive annual planning, budgeting, and monthly forecasting cycles, promoting consistency and process efficiency.
- Contribute to month-end close activities, including variance analysis, journal entries, and data validation, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders on special projects that enhance financial visibility and organizational agility.
- Serve as a trusted financial advisor on new initiatives, vendor contracts, and capital projects.
