You will be the Electrical Engineer for the Precision Strike Missile (PrSM) Increment 1 program. Our team is responsible for delivering reliable, high performance missile subsystems, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring that electrical designs meet rigorous DoD requirements throughout development and production.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Electrical Engineer you will provide technical leadership to supplier management teams, review and evolve electrical requirements and interface control documents, and support both laboratory testing and on site failure investigations. You will act as the primary conduit between the PrSM program and its external suppliers, driving issue resolution and continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will include:
• Reviewing electrical requirements, schematics, ICDs, and drawings for the Control Actuation System and related LRUs.
• Conducting research, technical investigations, and root cause analyses to resolve design and performance issues.
• Supporting system and subsystem level design updates, releases, and configuration control.
• Performing lab testing, validation, and evaluation of electrical hardware.
• Providing on site supplier support for failure investigations and ensuring LRU performance compliance.
• Executing Material Review Board Engineer (MRBE) tasks and participating in Failure Review Board (FRB) activities.
• Maintaining accurate documentation in Visio, Windchill, and other LM tools; generating reports for the Electrical Engineer Lead.
• Collaborating with cross functional teams (systems, mechanical, software) to align electrical solutions with overall missile objectives.
• Upholding security requirements by holding or obtaining a DoD Secret clearance.
