PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The Sales Support Specialist (SSS) is responsible for managing, qualifying, and dispositioning inbound
leads including handoff. The SSS collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to support the success
of blood drives. Operating remotely, the SSS provides territory gap support. Additionally, this role
contributes to initiatives and supports special administrative projects.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential 1. Lead Management: Triages inbound leads, determines appropriate disposition, and
manages lead lifecycle from intake to handoff. Maintains accurate activity logs in
applicable system(s).
Essential 2. Blood Drive Coordination: Coordinates and sells virtual and onsite blood drives in
alignment with enterprise goals. Ensures accurate record keeping and collaborates with
field teams for seamless execution.
Essential 3. Donor Recruitment: Executes recruitment strategies to engage volunteer blood
drive coordinators, increase first-time donors, and meet performance goals. Manages
blood drive calendar and follows 12-week process, as applicable.
Essential 4. Territory Coverage: Provides temporary remote territory coverage for ensuring

continuity of service and donor engagement.
Essential 5. Project Support: Contributes to special projects including, software enhancements,
and process documentation to support initiatives.
Essential 6. Training & Development Support: Supports training and onboarding for new hires
and existing staff. Supports with review of training material.
Essential 7. Compliance & Policy Adherence: Ensures compliance with SOPs and regulations.
Adheres to software usage standards and internal policies.
Essential 8. Customer Service & Attendance: Provides high-quality customer service and
maintains punctuality and attendance per policy.
Essential 9. Other Duties: Performs other related duties as assigned.
