We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our Loan Operations team as a Loan Clerk. This role supports the day-to-day back-office servicing of loans, including escrow administration, tax and insurance disbursements, loan payment processing, and general back-office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the daily servicing of consumer and/or mortgage loans
- Process escrow payments for property taxes and insurance
- Monitor escrow accounts for accuracy and ensure compliance
- Perform loan payment entries, account reconciliations, and balancing
- Respond to internal inquiries and assist with loan documentation reviews
- Support post-closing functions and maintenance of loan records
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate loan servicing
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred
- 2-3 years of banking/loan administration experience
- Highly professional and comfortable in a client-facing banking role
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of loan documentation or escrow processes is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
