SUMMARY:Compounding Tech I will be responsible for day-to-day troubleshooting and production support as needed. Other duties will include assisting with startups, shutdowns, planned maintenance (Bi-Weekly), special projects and material trials etc.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist with compounding startups, shutdowns, and changeovers as neededReport process and product discrepancies to the Engineering group with examples & detailsFirst point of contact to diagnose and resolve mechanical problemsWork with operations and maintenance teams while troubleshooting and assisting with issuesAttend support meetings to remain engaged with company objectivesEngineering & Maintenance Trials/SupportDevelop relationship with key engineering/maintenance resourcesObtain scope and complete necessary workContinuous ImprovementFirst point of contact for CI cards in the Engineered Materials spaceDevelop and demonstrate skillset for continuous improvementIdentify areas for improvementFollow up and complete assigned tasksQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:Adaptability/FlexibilityInterpersonal abilities: able to relate to co-workers, inspire others, mitigate conflictSelf-Starter: Ability to work independently with minimal supervisionComputer proficient – demonstrate basic computer skills and continuing developmentExcel - Develop skillset to organize measurement data into charts and graphsWord, PowerPointOutlook - Maintain email, Organize and set up meetingsUse computer skills to write work instructions or define requirements for completion of maintenance issuesTechnical degree or relevant experienceEquipment maintenance experienceMUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:Able to assess situations and determine if an issue is equipment or process-related and take the proper corrective action and escalation through various departments (Maintenance, Engineering, IT, Operations etc.)Able to diagnose quality issues and understand next steps needed to resolve non-conformanceAble to diagnose process and equipment issues by understanding first-steps needed to root-cause the machine problem.Strong background knowledge of all Compounding/Pelletizer/Blender Operator SkillsNICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:Strong prioritization and multi-tasking capabilityStrong aptitude in problem-solving and process improvementAbility to articulate problems and solutions verballyAbility to read and comprehend written instructions and process proceduresPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS SUMMARY:Must be able to stand for 12 hoursMust be able to lift 40 lbsSuccessful candidates in this role are expected to earn $25.45-$35.45.
