Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Assistant Case Manager to join our legal team. This role involves close collaboration with attorneys, experts, and clients in managing complex construction-related matters. Ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, professional setting and wants to contribute meaningfully to a successful legal practice.

Please note: This position includes local travel for site inspections using your personal vehicle. Travel and mileage reimbursement are provided.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist case managers and attorneys with day-to-day case management and document organization
  • Track discovery, expert, and litigation deadlines
  • Coordinate expert investigations and evidence-gathering activities
  • Communicate effectively with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and vendors
  • Prepare and organize case files, exhibits, and case summaries
  • Support trial preparation and settlement negotiations
  • Maintain and manage case databases and document management systems

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate required
  • Previous litigation or construction defect experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management software
  • Willingness and ability to travel locally for site inspections (mileage reimbursement provided)
