Web Developer Position: St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School is searching for a highly qualified teacher. All candidates must have a Bachelor's degree with at least 18 hours in Technology Applications and 12 hours in education or hold a valid, state teaching certificate. Experience preferred.

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School is a Pk-8th grade Catholic classical school seeking a full-time web developer. The qualified applicant for this position embraces the Truth, Goodness, and Beauty of our Catholic Faith, and is able to convey this vision through the website.
For this position, the ideal candidate will need to be able to code, design, and maintain websites, and have a strong understanding of web development principles including the use of various coding languages. The candidate should have an associate or bachelor’s degree in web development, computer science, or a related field, at least two years of development experience, a substantial portfolio, and strong technical skills. This includes a strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other programming languages. The candidate will also need to be familiar with various content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Joomla and Drupal.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Creating, testing, and maintaining or updating websites.
- Meeting with administrator to discuss needs and requirements, and ensure vision is well executed.
- Setting up back end of a site.
- Working with the style and functionality of a site.
- Ensuring security of websites.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Knowledge of data information systems, data analysis and the formulation of action plans.
- Ability to use computer network system and software applications as needed.
- Ability to organize and coordinate work.
- Ability to engage in self-evaluation with regard to performance and professional growth.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others contacted in the course of work.
A regular day for teachers includes the following physical activities: - Stand for long periods of time
- Walk long distances across campus as well as within classroom
- Sit for periods of time
- Climb steps
- Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Talk, hear, taste and smell
- Lift up to 50 lbs
