POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for performing HR-related duties on professional level and works directly with Sales Management in supporting designated geographic regions. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: Payroll, Training, Operations and Human Resources
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conducts weekly meetings with respective business unit while.
- Consults with market management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
- Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies & provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Reviews requests for new hires, promotions and transfers.
- Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.
- Ensures back office is processing market new hires timely.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Retail or restaurant experience preferred but not required.
- Experience working in a fast-paced atmosphere.
- Good communications skills both written and oral.
- HR certification such as PHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP or similar designation a plus
- 5+ years of HR Business Partner, HR Manager or other Professional level area of HR.
- Strong understanding of multi-state/multi-jurisdictional laws and payroll.
- Excellent computer skills, knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping
- Strong Analytical skills
- Organized and efficient in daily tasks
- General knowledge of employment laws and best practice a plus.
