Overview:

Join Virginia Housing and help make a difference as a Claims Recovery Specialist (Hybrid)

This important role will provide administrative support to the claims, foreclosure, and bankruptcy department.  This role will pull and review FHA and VA daily reports working the exceptions.   The candidate will be responsible for uploading claims submissions to HUD through their portal and prepare file inventory for submission to the Library of Virginia.  The candidate will open, identify and distribute daily mail. This position will work closely with the bankruptcy department in setting up new files, boarding loans to the workstation within the Black Knight Mortgage System, uploading documents to the Bankruptcy Pacer system as needed and processing payments for routine property preservation and other default-related invoices.

To be successful in this role you must possess:

  • A few years’ experience in mortgage processing.
  • Working knowledge of Black Knight/MSP
  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Applications (word, excel, PowerPoint, outlook, explorer, etc.)
  • Ability to perform multiple administrative tasks at once.
  • Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to maintain composure under pressure.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, documentation and analytical skills.
  • Strong active listening skills.

 

 

Work Hours

  • Monday through Friday 8:30pm – 5:00pm

Hiring Range: $47,000 - $63,000
