Project Manager
This position serves as a liaison to Customers while accomplishing project objectives by planning and evaluating project activities and monitoring costs and schedules.
Job Functions:
- Provide the necessary direction for planning, organizing, developing, and integrating the engineering effort, including the need to establish the specific objectives, schedules and budgets for the production process
- Manage projects including the timely completion and installations
- Work closely with the site superintendent and customers
- Coordination between internal departments to insure timely resolutions and customer satisfaction.
- Coordination with other contractors to ensure that building systems integrate properly with our rack structures.
- Work with the client not only during installation, but also managing through the commissioning process.
- Clearly define tasks by dividing the work. Assign tasks to appropriate areas of responsibility.
- According to the specific tasks and overall program requirements, define, negotiate, and allocate budgets and schedules.
- Monitor project costs and report to accounting on a regular basis. Prepare customer billings and change orders.
- Prepare subcontractor proposal packages for installation and services.
- Approve subcontractors’ invoices and other job-related expenses.
- Redirect the development effort in case of contingencies such as to best utilize the available resources toward the overall project objectives.
- Travel for customer meetings and site meetings as well as to suppliers for inspection and coordination is required. The amount of travel is dependent upon the complexity of the project and the number of projects you are managing.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
- 5+ years of Project Management experience
- Experience with Tracking Budget Expenses, Self-Development, and Planning
- Experience in the Material Handling business which encompasses pallet conveyors, case conveyors, gravity flow conveyors, storage rack systems, PLC controls, Warehouse Management Software and installations.
- Experience in the Construction business with focus on warehouses.
Desired/Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- PMP Certification
- Bilingual in English and Spanish or German
