Position: Assistant Superintendent

Position Summary:
The Assistant Superintendent is responsible for the planning, coordination and supervision of all suppliers and subcontractors to ensure each project remains on schedule and within budget. Projects will be located nationwide. The assistant Superintendent will either be assisting another superintendent on larger projects or running lead on smaller projects or tenant improvements. Results oriented, hands-on professional with the ability to deal effectively and interact well with clients, jurisdictions, subcontractors, and employees.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
· Plans, coordinates, and supervises suppliers and subcontractors in the best interest of the project schedule and budget guidelines.
· Prepares project schedules and communicates to all parties the sequence of performing their scope of work.
· Works closely with the project management team to ensure on-time completion.
· Conducts safety site meetings and maintains project safety files and records
· Practices and implements Company safety protocols.
· Performs and manages quality control.
· Completes close-out process by maintaining accurate as-built drawings throughout project, completing punch lists, inspections, and sign-offs.
· Reviews plans, complete constructability review, submit and maintain RFI’s, review submittals, maintain daily logs, document project status, track materials and deliveries.
· Assists Superintendents or Senior Superintendents on larger projects.
· Assists Superintendents on larger projects with signage, barricades, safety measures, subcontractor coordination, clean up, and any other miscellaneous on-site needs.
· Reviews submittals and ensures all products and materials incorporated into the project are per approved documents.
· Must have intermediate ability to read and understand construction documents.
· Highly organized, positive attitude, and a team player
· Ability and willingness to travel throughout the U.S. for project durations.
· Proven background with employee/management relationships
· Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with executive-level clients.
· Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
· Ability to identify and manage priorities.
· Capable of multi-tasking and the ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
· Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is a plus
· CPR/First Aid Certification. (training provided)
· OSHA 30 Hour Certification (training provided).
