United Way Miami, Inc. is hiring an Associate, Corporate/Volunteer Engagement to join our team. As an Associate, Corporate/Volunteer Engagement, you will create and manage volunteer engagement opportunities for our giving communities and special interest groups, including but not limited to LINC, Young Leaders, Women United, Tocqueville Society, and Mission United.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
In partnership with the Senior. Director, Volunteer & Corporate Engagement, plans and executes all giving communities' volunteer projects and events, leads externally managed volunteer partnerships, and adviser/mentor for UWM donor volunteer activities.
- Assists in the development of the UWM year-long strategic volunteer engagement plan.
- Creates proposals and executes UWM volunteer projects with external and internal stakeholders year-round to elevate the collective impact of engagement efforts, including but not limited to Read for the Record, Leaders Day of Action, and MLK Jr. Day Service project.
- Liaises with external stakeholders, helping make the connection between their engagement in our community and the mission of United Way Miami of advancing the common good.
- Works closely with development staff and committees to assist in the planning and execution of the UWM year-long direct-to-consumer volunteer engagements, recognition, and journey mapping plans.
- Attends and schedules site visits with community partners to identify ongoing and episodic volunteer needs. Maintains communication with key staff at partners and serves as liaison between the partner and UWM.
- Works as a team in the collection, input, and tracking of data that will support all Engagement initiatives.
- Works as a member of the Marketing & Communication team in support of team activities and the organization, to support overall fundraising, special events logistics, and other organizational objectives.
Requirements
Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Experience Requirements: Two to three years’ experience in program or project facilitation.
Technology Requirements: Microsoft Office Suite, OneCause, Teams, and knowledge of modern web browsers
Other Essential Knowledge/Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills, customer relations skills, creative problem-solving skills, good judgment; able to assess and engage quality and committed individuals; time management and conflict resolution skills are essential. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively and present to groups.
