The Global Operations, Client Services & Administration group delivers world-class safety and soundness for the global financial services industry. The team provides DTCC’s portfolio of core securities and superior transaction processing and client services support in an environment that minimizes risk and cost while improving efficiency.

The Impact you will have in this role:
Being a part of the Clearing & Securities Services team, the Product Manager will support the build-out of DTCC"s Insurance & Retirement Services franchise within the Wealth Management Services business. This role will be instrumental in shaping and delivering innovative solutions that expand access to annuity and insurance products, enhance operational efficiency, and align with evolving client and regulatory expectations. The ideal candidate will possess a in-depth knowledge of the annuity and insurance industry and has familiarity with the associated processes and market landscape.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy & Roadmap Definition: Define and implement the product vision and strategy for annuity and insurance within the Wealth business, including identifying market trends, client needs, and regulatory developments to advise product strategy. Build commercial models and cases to substantiate the strategy.
- Customer Engagement: Collaborate with external partners and vendors, servicing as a primary liaison between DTCC and its clients, as well as internal teams (e.g., technology, operations, legal/compliance, and the client office).
- Product Development & Delivery: Lead end-to-end product development lifecycle for annuity and insurance - from ideation and requirements gathering to testing, launch, and post-launch optimization. Translate business needs into detailed product requirements and user stories, where required.
- Operational Enablement: Partner with Operations and Technology to streamline workflows and ensure scalable, resilient infrastructure for annuity and insurance product line. Support development of strategy to integrate the annuity and life insurance products into the firm's broader wealth platform and clients' systems and environments, where required.
- Risk & Compliance: Ensure all product initiatives adhere to regulatory requirements and internal risk standards. Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks associated with product launches. Mitigates risk by following established procedures and monitoring controls, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
Talents Needed for Success:
- 8 years of experience in product management, preferably within wealth management, annuity or insurance management, or financial infrastructure.
- Solid understanding of experience working in the annuity and insurance space and the associated operational ecosystem.
- Proven ability to manage complex cross-functional initiatives and deliver results in a matrixed environment.
- Exceptional communication, analytical, and partner leadership skills; ability to articulate a vision in written, verbal, and presentation materials.
- Bachelor's degree required, MBA or relevant advanced degree a plus.
- Experience working with or alongside DTCC or similar financial market infrastructure providers is highly desirable.
The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
