Under the direction of the designated administrator, the classroom teacher is responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring, and assessing a comprehensive instructional program that supports the academic and social-emotional growth of all students.
Teachers are expected to design and deliver engaging lessons that promote English language development and academic achievement across all core subject areas.
The teacher will:
• Implement instructional strategies that lead to English language fluency and overall academic success, including for English Learners and students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Maintain a positive and structured classroom environment that supports student behavior and learning
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to assess student needs and implement interventions
• Participate in the development and implementation of IEPs and attend related meetings as required
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress, learning goals, and areas of concern
• Develop lesson plans and prepare instructional materials, including plans for substitute teachers when necessary
• Maintain accurate and timely records of student performance, attendance, and other required documentation
• Engage in professional development, staff meetings, and site-based activities that promote continuous improvement

Valid California Multiple Subject Credential, University Intern, District Intern, and valid English Language Learner Authorization required.
