Job Title- DevOps Engineer
Job Location- Hybrid- Norfolk, Virginia, USA
We are seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer with over 8 years of experience to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Azure DevOps Services, Python scripting, and terraform for infrastructure automation. Experience in healthcare or insurance domains is highly desirable, especially with a strong understanding of security and compliance standards.
In this role, you will
Design, Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Services.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform.
Develop and maintain Python scripts for automation, monitoring, and integration tasks.
Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless deployment and integration.
Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and troubleshooting issues across environments.
Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA) in healthcare IT.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure and deployment processes.
Support and optimize Azure Cloud Services operations.
Implement and manage Tokenization, CaaS (Kubernetes), and other cloud-native services.
Utilize PowerShell, CLI, and Ansible for scripting and automation tasks.
What you’ll need to succeed (required skills)
Strong hands-on experience with:
Azure DevOps Services
Python scripting
Terraform
Solid understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.
Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
Familiarity with Git, monitoring tools, and logging frameworks.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred skills: what will help you stand out
Azure DevOps Engineer Expert Certification
Experience in healthcare or insurance IT environments
Knowledge of HIPAA and other security/compliance standards
Experience with:
Terraform scripting
Ansible scripting
PowerShell and CLI
Azure Cloud Services
Tokenization and CaaS (Kubernetes)
Azure operations and monitoring
