About the Role
You will have an advanced understanding of digital print workflows, from file preparation and colour management to output and finishing. Confident in using Adobe Creative Cloud software, you will support students in developing professional standards of digital artwork. You will also maintain and operate digital printing equipment, while providing technical and IT support for both practical and digital processes, promoting safe, effective, and sustainable use of the workshops and studios.
Your practical expertise in bookbinding will allow you to guide students through the complete process of creating well-crafted and imaginative books. You will demonstrate a range of binding techniques and ensure students gain confidence in using specialist equipment.
About You
- In depth knowledge and skills in technical support required in Digital Print and associated areas, particularly in-depth knowledge of the relevant Adobe software.
- Hand bookbinding construction
- Skilled in large-format printing
- Use initiative and problem solving skills
- Developing and motivating others in a team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and oral.
Additional Information
The salary range shows the potential maximum pay progression in addition to any annual inflationary increase to your pay. Please note that our default position is to appoint into the lower end of the range, unless there are exceptional circumstances.
Please Note: Some evening and weekend working may be required for this role
