General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking an experienced Program Analyst Health Care professional for a Health Care Liaison position. This will be a full-time employment position at the Orange County Intelligence Assessment Center (OCIAC).
MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
The essential duties and tasks of the Health Care Liaison assigned to the OCIAC include but are not limited to:
- Serve as a liaison to local, state, and federal health care agencies, as well as public health, fire, and Emergency Management Services partners to share and collect information related to relevant threats and trends
- Maintain and strengthen the center’s network of Healthcare Liaison Officers (HLO) through regular products and outreach
- Organize and conduct regular meetings and briefings for healthcare stakeholders in the operational area
- Assist with organizing and attend relevant seminars, conferences, training events, and exercises
- Coordinate closely with the Orange County Sheriff’s Department Private Sector Coordinator assigned to the fusion center to foster and maintain relationships and to provide training and educational opportunities
- Collect data using a combination of standard intelligence methods and business processes
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Participate in special projects as required
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
- A Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
- A minimum of 4 years of health care-related experience
- Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
- US Citizenship required
- Proven knowledge and expertise in emergency preparedness, hospital/health care center operations, and local health infrastructure
- Familiarity with federal, state, and local policies and regulations related to public health and emergency management
- Competency in developing and implementing strategic, mission-support initiatives
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
- Proven ability to successfully engage and collaborate with federal, state, local, and tribal public safety agency executives
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Exceptional writing and public speaking skills to include briefings of public safety executives and public officials at all levels of government
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Desired: an active Secret security clearance
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to work extended hours and weekends as needed to support critical efforts and operations
- Must complete an Orange County Sheriff's Department (OCSD) background check, including a possible polygraph examination, before commencing employment or performing services at the fusion center
