The Patient Recruitment Associate III is responsible for supporting and executing patient recruitment and retention activities across multiple clinical research studies. This role focuses on handling patient outreach efforts, maintaining accurate recruitment data, and ensuring compliance with study timelines and regulatory requirements. Acting as an expert in patient recruitment processes and systems, the Associate III offers advanced operational assistance to project teams in order to meet enrollment objectives.
Essential Functions
- Manage and implement patient outreach initiatives to identify, engage, and phone screen potential participants for clinical trials.
- Track and maintain recruitment metrics and patient data within internal databases and study-specific tracking systems.
- Phone screen patients using IRB approved questionnaire to gauge eligibility for clinical trials and schedule on-site screening visits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical operations, study coordination, and marketing to optimize recruitment strategies.
- Manage recruitment performance and report trends or issues to management to support timely resolution.
- Coordinates and participates in efforts to call patients to promote study enrollment using database lists.
Job Complexity
Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
Minimum of 1 year clinical recruitment experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of Phase I research clinic operations
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service and phone etiquette
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
