Duties
Maintain accounting records/subsidiary ledgers for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, collections, payments, income, liabilities, payroll, assets, and equipment.,Ensures the accuracy and timeliness of accounting documents submitted by assigned activities.,Determines that all transactions are properly processed, and that total activity agrees with predetermined control tables.,Analyses and reviews report and machine listing to assure they are in balance and in proper format and sort sequence, that accounting data is valid and that it adheres to prescribed regulatory manuals and procedures.,Classifies erroneous conditions referring complex errors/problems to the accountant.
Qualifications

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Work experience performing accounting support duties as described above. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Must possess experience using Adobe, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook. (To receive credit for the experience, it MUST be reflected in your resume. Must have successfully completed at least 9 semester hours in accounting at an accredited college or university. (To receive credit for these courses, you MUST upload your transcript(s) at the time of application.)
