Quality Assurance Leader – 1st Shift
Location: Davenport, Iowa
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st Shift
Full-Time | Exempt
Are you a quality-driven leader with a passion for continuous improvement and team development? Join our team as a Quality Assurance Leader and play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of excellence.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and mentor the Quality Assurance team to support production, engineering, and customer satisfaction.
- Plan and implement QA activities aligned with our Quality Policy and ISO 9000-compliant Quality System.
- Develop and manage quality programs, inspection methods, and auditing practices.
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for nonconformances.
- Maintain accurate quality records and communicate quality metrics across departments.
- Collaborate with customers to address concerns and ensure satisfaction.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement using tools like Six Sigma, Lean, SPC, DOE, and FMEA.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience with strong knowledge of quality tools.
- Experience in rotational molding (roto-molding) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and statistical/gage management software.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- ASQ certification (Quality Manager or Engineer) preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required.
Work Environment:
- Office, lab, and manufacturing floor settings.
- Must be comfortable with physical activity including standing, walking, and occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Safety gear required in designated areas.
