Position Summary
The Process Controls Project Coordinator will be responsible for quoting and managing both large-scale projects and day-to-day process controls applications. This role bridges technical engineering support, customer service, and project management, ensuring timely and accurate execution of projects ranging from valve automation and instrumentation packages to manual valve and piping applications. The coordinator will work closely with outside sales, vendors, and customers to deliver engineered solutions that meet customer specifications, compliance standards, and budget requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Quoting & Applications
· Prepare and deliver accurate, competitive quotes for process control products (valve automation, instrumentation, manual valves, and related systems).
· Interpret customer specifications, drawings, and RFQs to develop complete solutions.
· Partner with vendors to secure pricing, lead times, and technical information.
· Provide day-to-day support for internal and external sales teams with quick-turnaround applications and proposals.
Project Coordination & Management
· Manage large-scale projects from kickoff through commissioning, including scheduling, procurement, order entry, and logistics.
· Lead project meetings and maintain proactive communication with customers, sales, and vendors.
· Monitor timelines, vendor lead times, and potential risks to keep projects on track.
· Coordinate with warehouse, purchasing, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and installation.
· Track and manage change orders, ensuring scope alignment and profitability.
Technical Support & Execution
· Conduct field walkdowns and site visits as needed for troubleshooting, commissioning, and customer support.
· Translate project requirements into engineered systems, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards (NEC/NFPA 70, API, ASME, ISA, etc.).
· Review and maintain technical documentation, including P&IDs, BOMs, RFQs, and Excel takeoffs.
· Support quality assurance by verifying accuracy of technical packages and final deliverables.
Customer & Vendor Relations
· Serve as the technical point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
· Ensure customer expectations are met regarding scope, delivery, and quality.
· Develop strong working relationships with vendors to expedite pricing, product support, and project execution.

Ideal Candidate Profile
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred (not required).
· Experience: 2–5 years in project coordination, process controls, industrial sales, or related technical role.
· Strong knowledge of process control systems, valve automation, instrumentation, and fluid handling equipment.
· Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project).
Preferred Skills & Certifications
· Experience with industrial process systems, rotating equipment, or control valves.
· Exposure to field commissioning/start-up support.
· Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus.
