Position Description
The Inventory Control Associate is responsible for cycle counting, verifying, and researching inventory throughout the warehouse. This will include components, finished goods, and chemicals. The job may include but is not limited to moving pallets with forklifts or hand jacks, restocking pallets, lifting up to 60lbs repetitively, sorting items, working on a platform in the air, and working in hot to cold temps. Use of the RF Gun and the knowledge of the computer required.
Responsibilities
- Compare work orders from production and warehouse and reconcile differences.
- Enter cycle counts daily for components, chemicals, and finished goods.
- Maintain barcode and system integrity.
- Assist with inventory audits.
- Justify dock receipts for packaging against purchase orders and enter the quantity received.
- Process inventory adjustment codes and reconcile inventory issues.
- Pull and work on various inventory reports.
- Organize the disposition of deleted/scrap items, recycle, and adjust inventory.
- Verify receiving(s) component receipt with system.
- Verify batch work order with system entries.
- Reconcile negative(s) on hand for all inventory items.
- Assist with AS400 System and RF issues.
- Issue new license plates when needed.
- Maintain location set-up and maintenance.
- Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and good working order of all assigned equipment.
- Comply with all safety and compliance standards set forth by Cohere Beauty.
- Communicate effectively with others.
- Regular predictable attendance is required.
- Pull sample orders for both internal and external customers.
- Perform work on-site.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education & Experience
- High school or equivalent.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Prior inventory experience.
- RF unit experience.
- PC and Microsoft Office experience.
- Basic math, reading, grammar skills, and legible handwriting.
- Clerical abilities including filing, data entry, and typing to 40 wpm.
- Ability to organize, plan, prioritize, and work independently.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English competently.
- Ability to maintain reliable and predictable attendance.
Preferred Knowledge, Certifications, Skills & Abilities
- Forklift certification.
- Data entry experience.
- Knowledge of AS400.
Travel & Working Conditions
- Manufacturing environment - some temperature extremes, dust, noise, and wet conditions.
- No annual travel expectations are required for this position.
