Summary: Dime Community Bank (Dime) is currently hiring for a Lease & Escrow Deposit Specialist at its Headquarters in Hauppauge, Long Island. The Lease & Escrow Deposit Specialist will be responsible for providing support directly to our Dime Escrow clients as well as supporting the Branch and Private Banking Teams. The Lease & Escrow Deposit Specialist also acts as a contact to assist branch staff and Private Banking teams in onboarding new client relationships, responding to operations questions and issues, and ensuring consistent bank-wide adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations through a combination of procedure authoring/revising and monitoring.
Salary commensurate with experience, ranging from $50,000 to $60,000 annually. The exact compensation may vary based on relevant experience, skills, education, training, licensure and certifications, and location.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with creating new Escrow Account set-ups for Landlord/Tenant, 1031 Exchange, Attorney Escrow, Real Estate Management.
- Assist with Daily Transaction Processing.
- Assist and participate with Escrow support to bankers and clients directly.
- Assist with Manual Interest Calculations.
- Participate with Escrow Services application demonstrations to bankers and clients.
- Process Branch and Private Banking Service Desk Requests.
- Monitor Branch Service Desk ticketing system and assist branches and Private Banking with product knowledge.
- Write and modify procedures to provide instructions and create efficiencies.
- Act as a resource for Branch and Private Banking network in resolving operational problems. Identify patterns in recurring problems and recommend procedural revisions and/or training issues.
- Act as primary to perform File Maintenance review for Branch Operations staff.
- Provide support to Vault Services.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- College degree preferred or a combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 2 years’ banking experience required.
- Experience and knowledge of banking regulations.
- Self-starter with demonstrated ability to work both independently and efficiently.
- Outstanding time management skills and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work at all levels within the organization.
- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must be organized and detail-oriented and exhibit flexibility and willingness to work at a rapid pace.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and various banking third-party platforms.
- Must be able to find a high-volume, dynamic, and team-focused environment engaging.
