Responsibilities:As part of the PepsiCo Foods Design team, you will partner closely with functional design experts as well as the business to develop brand design strategies across a spectrum of capabilities including product architecture, innovation pipelines, visual identity systems, design guidelines, packaging design, and structural design.
The Designer will engage with cross-functional teams to drive comprehensive brand and graphic design projects from ideation and strategy to execution. The main objective of this role is to guide the Pepsi brand design, help craft the brand design strategy, and execute major design projects across the portfolio.
You’ll work closely with our Design Manager and Director to concept, craft, and bring ideas to life across a range of touchpoints. This includes:
- Developing and executing brand design work from concept to final delivery.
- Participating in brainstorms, critiques, and work sessions.
- Creating visual identities, packaging, presentations, and social content.
- Sketching, storyboarding, moodboarding, and mock-ups to communicate ideas.
- Collaborating with cross-functional partners and external studios.
- Iterating quickly based on feedback and evolving business needs.
Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $69,900 - $117,000.
- Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
- Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 5% of annual salary paid out annually.
- Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Design with 2+ years’ experience as a multidisciplinary designer taking projects from concept through completion or equivalent experience required
- Should have full-time agency side and or client-side experience
- Strong portfolio that demonstrates concept development, typography, layout, and systems thinking.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Firefly software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong typography skills, conceptual design skills, and design strategy experience
- 360 brand design experience (i.e., print, packaging, digital, environmental, experiential)
- Demonstrated ability to generate high-quality images, designs, animations, and motion graphics using AI-powered tools and platforms, integrating them seamlessly into the creative workflow
- Extraordinary design taste and expertise with an excellent sense of design trends
- Ability to work in an agile, dynamic work environment with a start-up mentality (comfortable with risk and uncertainty)
- Strong stakeholder relationship management - effectively influence at all levels in the organization, as well as across regions and functions
- Effectively communicates (verbally and written) with internal and external business partners
- Collaborative and works well with others to deliver results; keep others informed to avoid unnecessary surprises
- Ability to multitask. Excellent time and project management skills to be able to meet project deadlines
