The Role
As a Senior Account Director, you will be a trusted client advisor and leader, overseeing all PR programming and guiding high-performing teams. You will combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution to ensure campaigns are innovative, integrated, and impactful.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary client contact and trusted advisor, providing strategic counsel across communications programs.
  • Lead and oversee PR initiatives from concept through activation, adding value at every stage.
  • Build, mentor, and develop dynamic, engaged teams, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
  • Deliver persuasive presentations to clients, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities efficiently, ensuring smooth delegation and execution.
  • Assess program effectiveness, ensuring ROI and optimal use of client budgets.
  • Maintain quality control over planning decks, recaps, status reports, schedules, and vendor/partner contracts.
  • Collaborate across integrated marketing teams, representing PR while supporting cross-agency campaigns.
Requirements

The Ideal Candidate

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in strategic communications, ideally in an agency setting; QSR experience a plus.
  • Proven success managing day-to-day client service and multi-channel campaigns for high-profile brands.
  • Expertise in traditional and social media, community partnerships, and events.
  • Strong strategic thinker with exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Experienced in engaging and presenting to mid-to-senior-level clients.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to perform under pressure.
  • Track record of leading high-performing teams and mentoring junior staff.
