Responsible Individual (AZ) at Mortgage Forward

Reporting directly to and under the supervision of the COO, the Responsible Individual’s purpose is to assist Mortgage

Forward, an independent mortgage company, with obtaining and maintaining licensing in certain states. Responsible

for ensuring that outstanding service is delivered to both internal and external partners in alignment with our Standards

of Greatness.

The Responsible Individual is a licensed employee who resides in a particular state in which Mortgage Forward seeks

licensing. He/she is knowledgeable about the specific state laws and about federal mortgage laws and regulations,

such as the Truth in Lending Act (TILA) and Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA). They must be privy to

sensitive information and capable of providing guidance on these laws.

Core and General Job Responsibilities

1. Active Management of the Mortgage Forward’s licensee’s operations in the state of AZ.

2. Must possess knowledge and provide guidance on federal laws like TILA and RESPA as well as relevant AZ

statutes and regulations.

3. Must be privy to confidential and sensitive information related to the licensee’s operations.

4. Responsible for ensuring that the licensee adheres to all applicable laws and regulations.

5. Must remain in “active management” of the licensee and must be replaced withing 90 days if they cease to be

active or the license expires.
