The Investment and Banking Coordinator position supports non-operational accounting activities within the Servicing Department, focusing on investment management, banking administration and compliance responsibilities. This role ensures timely and accurate processing of transactions, manages investment-related activity, maintains banking relationships, and collaborates with both internal and external stakeholders.
We are committed to growing your career, so in this role you will:
- Manage investments in accordance with the loan documents and servicing documents, including coordinating with internal and external parties to facilitate the purchase/sale of CD’s, Treasury Bills and the oversight of Money Market Accounts.
- Perform the calculation of interest on investment programs.
- Prepare journal entries, wires, and ACH transactions to record account activity produced outside of core software system.
- Prepare monthly reports and analyses for senior management and corporate accounting.
- Submit servicing fee invoices for payment
- Perform banking administration duties for new and current users, ensuring proper access to bank portals.
- Document and maintain procedures to ensure compliance with Corporate and Servicing standards.
- Cross training on other cash functions.
- Perform other duties as required.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and familiarity with general ledger systems.
- Experience with banking software and McCracken servicing system a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, with excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Understanding of Berkadia’s values and role-specific skills.
- Ability to deliver superior customer service and address diverse customer needs.
- Detail-oriented, with strong prioritization and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- One to three years of experience in a similar position.
