The role: We are looking for a GSOC Operator – Physical Security to join our Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC) team in Hyderabad.

You will be directly accountable for the effective and efficient running of the Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC). The role encompasses analysing, monitoring, and responding to alerts raised by various systems that impact the safety and security of Flutter Entertainment assets, operations & employees as part of an ongoing security monitoring service.
24/7 monitoring of significant global events via a selection of closed and open-source information feeds and respond to physical security events affecting or threatening Flutter Entertainments physical infrastructure, employees, operations, and assets globally.
This role follows a hybrid approach to working, allowing you to combine working from home with working in our modern offices. These discussions are between you and your manager to find the best pattern for you both! We will kit you out to work from home but know that working as a team is what makes us great and spending quality time together is essential for keeping us mission-aligned.
Why we need you
Day-to-day operations of the Global Security Operations Centre
Serve as the hub for monitoring, analysing and interpretation of risks and threats that may affect Flutter Entertainment
Responding to and investigating alerts raised on various security systems.
Support in the completion of International travel threat analysis for Flutter Entertainment employees travelling abroad.
Early detection of potential issues and assist in identifying new technologies and upgrades for existing systems
Ensure procedures and protocols are followed that enable the timely and effective response to incidents
Management of, incidents, alarms, notifications, calls and other activities related to the GSOC and its role as a central monitoring station
Answer routine and emergency calls by employees globally.
Who we’re Looking For
Have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience working in a Security Operations Centre, Security Communications Centre, Security/Alarm monitoring centre or other closely related operation
Have a proven record of accomplishment in customer service
Possess excellent verbal and written English communication skills
Can prioritise workload based on urgency and communicate to a range of audiences including to executive management
Have demonstrated ability to ensure compliance, monitoring of assets, and making rapid notifications via mass communication tools
Be able to work independently and be confident in decision-making within Flutter Entertainments defined processes, and during sudden, unanticipated, or unprecedented events or crises
Demonstrate and deploy a sound understanding and application of technology and use a variety of technical platforms and systems in a conjoined way to deliver quick and accurate results
Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products
Develop concise, fact-based incident reports for distribution to various stakeholders.
Dispatch physical security, ERT, facilities, police, fire and EMS personnel as required via telephone and/or radio.
Strong decision-making ability during both crisis and non-crisis situations.
Able to work with highly confidential information.
As the Ideal Candidate you will have
Non-English language skills are desirable but not essential for the role
Graduate in any discipline.
Ability to work in a flexible scheduling environment (rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays)
Familiarity with social media platforms, social media intelligence and open-source intelligence tools and techniques would be highly beneficial
Confident and articulate presenter able to concisely deliver key messages
