Your area of work
As a Sales & Business Development Support Intern at Eurex, you will gain hands-on exposure to the global derivatives market. Working alongside experienced professionals in the Sales team, you will support a variety of strategic and operational initiatives. This internship offers a unique opportunity to develop practical skills in financial market analysis, client engagement, and business development in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Your responsibilities
•    Conduct market and competitor research to support sales strategies and identify growth opportunities
•    Prepare and maintain client presentations, sales dashboards, and internal reports
•    Analyze trading and client activity data to uncover insights and support sales decision-making
•    Monitor financial market news and trends, providing relevant commentary and summaries
•    Help maintain internal tools and databases, including CRM and sales tracking systems
•    Engage in specific product-focused tasks (e.g., repo markets, cleared products, FX, fixed income, equity index) depending on team priorities
•    Take part in internal training and learning initiatives to enhance market and product knowledge

Your profile
•    Currently enrolled in a university program for the entire duration of the internship
•    Strong interest in financial markets and derivatives products
•    Solid understanding of capital markets and financial instruments
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data tools such as Bloomberg or Python is an asset
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language skills are a plus
•    Analytical, detail-oriented, and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks
•    Collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
