Operations Administrator – Landscape Construction (Development Role)
Location: Irwindale, CA
Pierre Landscape is seeking a highly organized and driven professional to join our team as an Operations Administrator. This is an excellent opportunity for a current Project Engineer, Estimator, or Assistant Project Manager—particularly from related trades such as landscape, concrete, or site development—who is ready to take the next step into operations management.

Structured Onboarding: Includes a 6-month training period rotating through Estimating and Production to learn Pierre’s systems, standards, and project delivery processes before taking full operational ownership
Impact: Play a key role in streamlining operations, improving processes, and supporting project success company-wide
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with the VP of Estimating and Production to ensure production processes are being followed and to maintain the overall flow and coordination of the team
Oversee Production Department operations and ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed consistently
Maintain and update the Operations Manual, ensuring processes and policies remain current and efficient
Support project teams by confirming Daily Check-Ins, project schedules, and reports (labor hours, equipment, and job summaries) are completed in Procore
Assist with labor scheduling, staffing needs, and onboarding/training of new Production Team members
Audit change orders, job status logs, and project cost forecasts for accuracy and completeness
Monitor and track completion of Job Pre-Planning Forecasts, Costs to Complete, and IBR entries in Sage
Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers to ensure billing accuracy and timely submittals
Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance department performance
Foster a positive, performance-driven culture within the operations team
What We’re Looking For:
3–5 years of experience in construction operations, project engineering, estimating, or assistant project management (landscape, concrete, or site work preferred)
Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and project documentation
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Experience with Procore, Sage, and Microsoft Office Suite preferred
Proven ability to lead through influence and improve systems and workflows
Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred, or Organizational Leadership or Project Management Certificate
