Position Summary

The Warehouse Associate supports daily warehouse operations to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely movement of goods within the supply chain. This position is responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping CPG products while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments; verify accuracy against purchase orders.
• Pick and pack orders accurately according to pick tickets or system instructions.
• Prepare products for shipment by labeling, palletizing, and staging orders for carriers.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate inventory through daily cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
• Assist in restocking and rotating products using FIFO (First In, First Out) methods.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse aisles, racks, and work areas.
• Follow all company policies and safety procedures, including PPE requirements.
• Collaborate with the logistics, production, and quality assurance teams to resolve issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience:
  • 1–2 years of warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience preferred.
  • Experience in a CPG or food distribution environment a plus.
• Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills (experience with WMS or ERP systems preferred).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain one.

Work Environment

• Warehouse environment with variable temperatures depending on product type.
• May require overtime, weekends, or flexible shifts during peak seasons.
• Regular exposure to forklifts, pallet jacks, and other moving equipment.
