ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Create the product strategy for new external and internal customer experiences and applications that appeals the needs and requirements of corporate leadership, stakeholder, and sponsors.
  • Manage the entire product lifecycle from planning to execution and delivery
  • Define product requirements documents based on subject matter knowledge and expertise of the specific product stakeholders and users
  • Build and maintain a strong Mouser and global ecommerce business acumen
  • Elicit and document business needs, requirements, supporting artifacts, and agile feature acceptance criteria
  • Develop and communicate program vision and feature roadmap
  • Partner with system architects to understand and coordinate delivery of enabler work
  • Ability to work to meet business goals, collaborate with the agile release train to build product features, and ensure delivered solutions continuously deliver value
  • Proficiency in maintaining a well-groomed program feature backlog with well-defined acceptance criteria
  • Contribute to establishment of product goals and review metrics to help identify opportunities and deliver successes
  • Research and identify new opportunities for Mouser to innovate on behalf of our customers
  • Take initiative to spend time with all levels of users (formal meetings, informal meetings, observing work, etc.)
  • Establish open and timely communications with interested parties, stakeholders, and teams.
  • Represents the company and Internet Business in a professional manner
  • Establishes and maintains effective relationships with internal and external contacts.
  • Team player/leader.
  • Expected to utilize organizational skills to document, categorize, prioritize, provide easy access to information, ask questions, follow up, and maintain communications.

SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS

  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies, software development lifecycle and problem solving.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with agile release train/scrum teams to deliver solutions.
  • Produce relevant internal documentation including, requirements documents, flowcharts, wireframes, and other process diagrams.
  • When working with external partners, must have the ability produce required documents (such as RFQs, SOW, Contracts) and manage associated onboarding, integration, and post-implementation support.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Familiarity in working in and with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong ability to work in teams with a collaborative interpersonal style.
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude toward self and others.
  • Ability to set and track goals.
  • PC experience in a Microsoft Windows environment, proficient with internet e-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Power Point, Project, Outlook, and other software.
  • Able to use, read, analyze, and interpret spreadsheets and printed reports.
  • Exhibits strong analytical, problem solving, negotiation, organizational and teaching skills.
  • Interacts effectively with individuals and groups inside and outside the organization.
  • Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with people at all levels of the organization.

  • Mentor peers in learning and building proficiency in Mouser, Internet Business, and stakeholder analysis and communication skills.
  • Drive continuous improvements to further product management skills and practices.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in a technical or equivalent discipline
  • Requires 6+ years of experience as a business analyst, product owner, program analyst, product manager or equivalent position
  • Requires 6+ years with ecommerce environments (B2B required)
