Facilities Utility Worker at BEI Precision Systems & Space Company Inc

Description

Keeping Quantic BEI facilities in top condition by ensuring that it remains a pleasant, positive, clean, orderly, well maintained, safe and secure work environment. This will require participation in a variety of janitorial, housekeeping, light maintenance, furniture/equipment moving, environmental protection, health/wellness/and safety activities.

· Perform routine painting of walls, doors, and exterior surfaces

· Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC maintenance

· Conduct mior carpentry tasks such as patching drywall or building a wall

· Replace light bulbs, air filters, and other consumables

· Set up and break down furniture and equipment for events

· Keep maintenance log ins and inventory records up to date

· Maintain exterior cleanliness by sweeping entryways and removing cobwebs

· Test and document emergency lighting and exit signs

Requirements

Education:

High School Education or GED.

Trade School Diploma or Degree preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year experience of Janitorial, Custodial or Maintenance work.

Other:

Basic knowledge of hand and power tools, ability to follow safety procedures and work independently. Good communication and team work skills. Paysical ability to left, bend, climb ladders, and work outdoors. Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship. 

Possession of a valid driver's license and proof of insurability.
