Role description:
Arcadis is seeking a PTAN Digital Specialist for our Atlanta, GA, office to assist Engineers, Scientists, and Project Managers with tasks associated with transportation infrastructure project work.
This position will support multiple clients and project teams. The candidate will have demonstrated experience in information management and geographic information systems. Candidates must have experience with the ESRI suite of tools and technologies. Experience with maintenance/construction inspections and performing field work is also a plus.
This role sits within the Global Mobility Business Area. We partner with our clients across the globe to design thriving and connected cities and communities that enable opportunity for all and keep the world moving. Climate change, urbanization and digitization trends are requiring today’s mobility projects and systems to address an evolving set of demands from the world’s growing population. We design connected, sustainable solutions that integrate existing infrastructure with new technologies, and optimize the mobility of people and goods.
Role accountabilities:
Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Working with project teams to reimagine the way they work
- QA/QC desktop GIS data, desktop GIS data entry, and field review GIS data
- Highly organized
- Experience creating guides and documentation
- Appropriately represent themselves, a team, and the company in front of clients
- Develop best practices in project information management for various project teams
- Working on multiple projects concurrently
Qualifications & Experience:
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably STEM related
- Excellent problem solver
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Detail Oriented
- Solid foundational knowledge of SQL
- Ability to work independently to develop solutions to problems using relevant technologies
- Ability to work on a team of people with a variety of backgrounds and expertise
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong technical GIS skills, especially the ESRI Suite of Products.
- Experience with the Office 365 suite of tools

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $68,187 - $112,509. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
