WHO YOU ARE:
You’ll be part of the People Operations team, primarily supporting the development, maintenance, and reinforcement of HR policies, SOPs, and guidelines, while also contributing to day-to-day HR operations within India. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in HR processes, a keen eye for compliance, and a proactive mindset for driving policy awareness and adherence.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Assist in the creation, updating, and maintenance of HR policies, SOPs, and employee guidelines.
- Support with policy benchmarking by researching industry trends, best practices, and evolving labor laws.
- Ensure adherence to applicable employment laws and internal policies by collaborating with relevant stakeholders.
- Drive policy awareness and reinforcement through initiatives such as floor connects, HR helpdesks, awareness sessions, quizzes, and internal communications.
- Coordinate periodic policy and benefits audits to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Support the employee lifecycle for India-based team members, including onboarding, offboarding, data updates, documentation, and lifecycle-related tasks.
- Maintain and manage personnel records in compliance with internal and legal standards.
- Assist in preparing employee letters, verification documents, reference checks, etc.
- Track and manage probation reviews, onboarding surveys, and other HR checkpoints.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support employee engagement initiatives and operations-related events.
- Handle employee queries related to policies, benefits, and other operational processes via mailbox or in-person connects.
- Generate reports and dashboards for policy adherence, engagement metrics, or HR operations as needed.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- MBA Degree
- 2+ years of relevant experience in HR operations, policy management, or HR compliance
- Strong understanding of HR policies, labor laws, and statutory compliance in India
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); exposure to HRIS (e.g., Dayforce) is a plus
- High attention to detail, structured approach to work, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed organization
- Collaborative, service-oriented, and discreet with sensitive information
- Reliable, timely and flexible
- Flexibility to support the team to cater to a diverse, international set of stakeholders.
