Duties & Responsibilities:
Contribute to economic and financial analysis in the context of the energy transition towards low carbon technologies
Support the development and enhancement of our internal market and financial models (e.g. decarbonisation pathways, asset valuation, policy impact assessments, contract pricing)
Conduct market research and policy analysis on electricity, gas, and carbon markets issues
Work in an international team on cross-office projects with colleagues across Europe, gaining exposure to diverse regulatory environments and energy systems
Present insights to senior team members and support delivery to clients (drafting, contribution to client presentations and expert evidence)
Skills and Profile Sought:
Currently undertaking or recently completed a Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Financial modelling and quantitative skills; hands-on experience with financial models (e.g., asset valuation, project finance, transaction support) is a plus
Proficiency in MS applications including Outlook, Excel, and Word; experience with programming tools such as Python or R is a plus
Fluency in French and English is required, other languages are a plus
German-speaking skills are highly appreciated
Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
Previous internship experience in the energy sector is desirable.
