Fiscal Services Manager at Ventura County Office of Education

Under direction of the Executive Director School Business and Advisory Services, review, monitor, and assist department staff and Local Educational Agency’s (LEA) personnel with payroll and tax-related processes, pension reporting, financial transactions, accounting functions, attendance, and state and federal reporting and guidance. Coordinate and perform appropriate reporting of LEA funding and monitoring cash. Perform the preparation of a variety of complex fiscal duties, projects, files, and reports; research, compile, and analyze financial and accounting transactions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: a bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or closely related field and three years of school accounting or comparably complex business area. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Valid California driver's license.
