Job Summary:

 

The HR Assistant provides essential administrative support by handling routine HR tasks such as data entry, filing, mail distribution, and answering phones. This role ensures the smooth operation of HR procedures and support as needed.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Take day-to-day direction in all aspects of human resources.

Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal employment laws as well as company policies and procedures.  

Maintain the highest level of confidentiality when dealing with employee and personnel matters.

Prepare, sort, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and packages.

Perform data entry and maintain records, files, and databases accurately.

Copy, scan, and file documents as required.

Required Knowledge Skills/Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.
