About the Role
Coopers Plains location, Permanent role, 42 hour week
Day and Afternoon shifts available

A full-time opportunity currently exists for a multi-skilled and efficient distribution operator/yard person at our Coopers Plains site. This role is interesting, fast paced and an excellent opportunity to build on your skillset and experience with a team focused on continuous improvement and safe work practices.
Reporting to the Distribution Centre Manager QLD, you will work with an established and experienced team responsible for all activities facilitating the daily distribution of goods to and from site.
Key responsibilities include:
Safely pick, pack, load, and unload orders, including forklift operation at heights.
Transport and store pipe products, ensuring proper stock rotation and handling.
Identify and isolate damaged or non-conforming products to maintain quality standards.
Maintain accurate inventory records, including receipts, dispatches, and delivery logs.
Perform regular cycle counts and stocktakes to ensure inventory accuracy.
Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders to support smooth operations.
Adhere to the Vinidex WHS and Quality standards.
Support safe work practices and contribute to a strong safety culture.
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
LF Forklift license with 2-3 years’ experience, working at heights (mandatory).
Basic computer skills including experience with Outlook, Word and Excel.
Good knowledge of transport loading/unloading practices.
Intermediate numeracy and literacy.
High level skills in planning and organisation
Strong communication skills.
Demonstrate strong organiasation, initiative and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
Health & Safety conscious with a commitment to safe work practices.
Have a positive and flexible attitude and strong work ethic.
