This role in summary

The primary functions of the Data Analyst will be to collect, sort, filter, and analyze data related to the Maintenance department.  This data will be collected from multiple sources including, existing spreadsheets, SAP, Leansuite, and other sources. The analysis of data will heavily rely on spreadsheets including tables, charts, and graphs. This position will also play a large role in helping  the maintenance organization achieve its goals and in the implementation of the PM Pillar of World Class Manufacturing.

  • Drive meetings with the maintenance team to review area indicators, provide feedback, and provide continuous improvement.

  • Create and actualize google spreadsheets to keep the KPIs and KAIs records updated.

  • Execution of Cleaning, Inspection, Lubrication, Painting and minor maintenance planned tasks (Predictive, Preventive and Corrective) according to the WCM-PM methodology.

  • Equipment Condition Monitoring creation, update and follow up

  • Follow up to the SAP records analyzing the data for optimization and improvement.

  • Maintain and control the technical information (machines operation manuals, drawings, data sheets, etc).

  • Machine Ledger and PM Calendar creation, upkeep, update and follow.

  • EWO’s, TAG’s, WO’s and Countermeasures creation and resolution administration tasks.

  • Create and manage SOP’s, SMP’s, OPL’s, MPI’s and Kaizens.

  • Support and follow up to crib inventory for critical spare parts and tasks as needed

  • When required, support and assist Engineers and Electromechanical Technicians.

  • When needed, backup for maintenance support technicians due to absenteeism, vacations etc.

 

Job Requirements:

 

  • Proficient in using Google, Microsoft Office, advanced Excel, and powerpoint..

  • Ability to create spreadsheets using formulas, Macros and data bases.

  • Able to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, etc for extended periods of time.

  • Proactive, leadership, problem solving, office management, and communication skills.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data and develop actions.

  • 3 years experience in repair and maintenance of industrial equipment.

  • Experience troubleshooting high (480) & low (24) voltage electrical circuits.

  • Understanding of PLC’s and ladder diagrams.

  • Electrical knowledge (VFD’s, power supplies, relays, contacts, etc.)

  • Mechanical knowledge (shafts, bearings, chains, sprockets, etc.)

  • Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.

  • Ability to read electrical and/or hydraulic prints.  

  • Diagnostic ability to separate mechanical and electrical issues.

  • Must be able to work in a team environment.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

  • Must be able to obtain Forklift and Aerial Lift operator licenses - Training will be provided for these licenses

  • Must be able to work at heights

  • Ability to demonstrate overall safe work behavior; including the utilization of proper safety equipment and adhering to safety guidelines

  • Must be able to complete all safety testing requirements

  • Ability to stoop, kneel, squat and stand for long periods of time.

  • Experience with metal forming presses, welding/fabrication and/or robotics would be a plus.
