Supply Chain Analyst II at Andersen Corporation

Summary; Role applies practical supply chain knowledge to identify, analyze and solve problems within a single value stream. Implements and supports continuous improvements and business process changes. Candidate must be local to the MN area as there is no relocation assistance for this role. No sponsorship is available for this position.Responsibilities:Participate in supply chain projects withing the value stream with consideration to the entire supply chain (plan, source, make deliver).Provides a high degree of planning analysis to support decision makingOptimize supply planning parameters that align with business requirements for service and inventory, including coordination of services and material to match production demands.Identifies supply chain problem areas and drives improvement in service, educe cost and increase inventory turns, utilizing supply chain and lean tools such as Kanban, 5Y, Plan-Do-Check-Act, value stream mapping and A3 thinking.Collaborate with internal and external partners including suppliers, supervisors and team leads, logistics/warehouse groups and material planners.Facilitates functional teams and meetingsProvide daily work direction to others in value stream (planners and other project participantsWorks independently with general supervisionRequirements:Bachelor’s degree or higher or equivalent experienceDegree in Supply Chain, Engineering or Information SystemsWorking knowledge of relevant supply chain technologies; such as ERP, Manufacturing Executions Systems, Warehouse Management Systems.Knowledge and experience with ERP systems, data mining and data reportingProficient in utilizing lean tools and methodology for problem solving and continuous improvement including Pull, 5Y, PDCA, A3 thinking , waste eliminationEngages with others in a way that can be developed into an ongoing working relationshipSeeks to understand customer needs in detail and how to satisfy themWillingly accepts assignments that will expand his/her capabilitiesSeeks opportunities to lean from others who have more experience and tenure in the organization.Preferred Requirements:·        3-5 years of supply chain experience preferred.
