What You'll Do:

Drive the Future of Renewable Energy Projects 

ECS is seeking a growth-oriented Regional Manager in San Antonio, TX to lead the expansion of our service offerings (Geotechnical, CMT, Environmental, Facilities) within the renewable energy sector throughout the Western United States. This role offers the chance to lead engineering and consulting efforts on complex infrastructure projects. 

Responsibilities 

  • As the technical and business leader in the region, you’ll drive profitability and performance across projects while mentoring future leaders 
  • Lead regional growth in the renewables market through strategic client engagement and project pursuit 
  • Develop and mentor high-performing teams in geotechnical, environmental, and construction materials disciplines 
  • Partner with office and department managers to identify new opportunities, allocate resources, and drive proposal success 
  • Support project execution for large-scale solar farms, battery storage sites, wind installations, and renewable infrastructure 
  • Maintain and monitor financial performance metrics (P&L, AR, backlog) across assigned offices 
  • Represent ECS in industry events, renewables associations, and regional conferences 
  • Ensure compliance, standardization, and quality across operations 
  • Develop market-specific playbooks and partner strategies within the renewables ecosystem  - solar, wind, hydropower, geothermal, bioenergy, low carbon etc.

What We're Looking For:

Qualifications:  

  • BS or MS from an ABET-accredited Institution in Civil Engineering or a related field 
  • A P.E. or P.G. license or the ability to obtain equivalent licensure 
  • 10+ years of experience, including 5+ years managing operations teams, and business performance, ideally within geotechnical, environmental, facilities, or materials testing services in the renewables sector 
  • Demonstrated experience managing P&L for complex service operations  
  • Proven success in business development within wind, solar, or renewables related markets
