About the Department
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervises a small crew in the maintenance operations of-solid waste management including collections of refuse and recycling; large item pick-up, etc.
- Works alongside crew on assignments to assist with and assure compliance with expected quality and quantity of work
- Drives heavy equipment
- Reports need of major equipment repairs to Crew Supervisor
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- One-year experience solid waste management operations or similar type operation.
- Valid driver's license
- Valid CDL required for the operation of heavy equipment.
