We’re currently looking for a Monthly Babysitter in San Antonio, TX (78249)
A wonderful working parent in San Antonio, TX (Near I-10 and De Zavala, close to Sam’s Club), is seeking a reliable and trustworthy babysitter to care for her thoughtful and independent 10-year-old daughter during early morning to midday hours while she works her shift.
Start Date: ASAP
Length of Position: Ongoing, long-term
Days: Monday, Thursday, and Friday

- Hours: 3:45 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. (mother works starting at 4:00am)
- Frequency: Approximately 6–8 days per month (2–3 days every other week)
Rate: $15/hour
1 Child: 10 year old, girl
Notes: Homeschooled. Very independent, very easy going, and thoughtful.
Responsibilities
- Arrive promptly at 3:45 a.m.
- Be present while the child sleeps until approximately 9–10 a.m.
- Ensure her safety and provide attentive care throughout the morning and early afternoon
- Be present and engaged once she wakes
- Light supervision during breakfast and lunch (child prepares her own meals)
- Maintain a calm, positive home environment
Requirements
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- At least 2 years of childcare experience
- CPR and First Aid certified or willing to become certified
- Able to pass background and social media screening
- Two professional childcare references required
- Comfortable with a small, elderly dog (no pet care required)
- Experience with homeschool or education (Preferred but not required)
- Dependable, punctual, and responsible for early-morning hours
Compensation
This position pays $15 per hour. The family is seeking someone who could help care for their daughter approximately 8-9 hours per shift, 6–8 shifts per month. This position would be ongoing, long-term.
