A lovely family in Pittsburgh, just north of the zoo, is seeking a caring, reliable, and experienced babysitter to care for their two children, ages 2 and 5 years, for an immediate start. Backup care is needed Fridays or Saturdays between 5pm-10pm for date nights, and occasionally supporting the family when one parent is traveling during other weekdays. Those applying do not need to be available for all of the family's requests, but should understand that there are no guaranteed weekly hours for this position. The ideal candidate would have a genuine love for working with children, be fun and engaging, and flexible.

- Schedule: 4 hour evening shifts as-needed, Monday-Saturday between 5pm-10pm

- Rate: $25 per hour
Responsibilities
- All aspects of childcare for two wonderful children
- Meal preparation and monitoring
- Engaging in age-appropriate activities and games
- Following the children’s established bedtime routines
Requirements
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- 2+ years of paid, professional childcare experience
- Must be able to provide at least two professional childcare references, or references that collectively cover at least two years of professional childcare experience, whichever is greater
- CPR certified or willing to become certified
- Has valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must be able to successfully clear a background and social media check
Compensation
Position pays $25 per hour and client is looking for care on an as-needed basis.
